Dr. Manuel Jimenez is a board-certified internal medicine physician and co-founder of NutriMed Wellness, an online clinic focused on helping people achieve lasting weight loss and better heart health through science-backed lifestyle changes.

Growing up in Miami, Florida, Dr. Jimenez has always been passionate about making healthcare more personal, practical, and accessible—especially for busy individuals and underserved communities. As a current Cardiovascular Disease Fellow, he brings deep expertise in heart health and preventive care, helping patients lose weight in a way that supports long-term wellness, not just short-term results.

Before launching NutriMed Wellness, Dr. Jimenez served as an Academic Chief Resident and college professor, where he mentored future doctors and medical professionals. His clinical background and teaching experience allow him to explain complex medical ideas in a down-to-earth way, empowering patients to take control of their health.

As a migrant physician and a family man, Dr. Jimenez understands the challenges many people face when trying to prioritize their health. That’s why he’s passionate about making NutriMed a supportive, judgment-free space where real change can happen.

When he's not caring for patients or working on new health initiatives, you can find Dr. Jimenez exploring new cultures, experimenting in the kitchen, or fishing with his family in the Florida Keys.

Corina Baez is a clinical nutritionist and co-founder of NutriMed Wellness, a virtual clinic dedicated to sustainable weight loss, metabolic balance, and evidence-based GLP-1 support.

Originally from the Dominican Republic and now based in New Jersey, Corina brings over a decade of experience in medical nutrition therapy, combined with a deep passion for helping people reclaim their health from the inside out. She holds a bachelor’s degree in medical sciences, an associate’s in clinical nutrition, and is currently pursuing a master’s in clinical nutrition, with a focus on functional medicine and obesity care.

Her training includes a hands-on internship at Cook for Your Life, where she created educational content and therapeutic recipes for cancer patients. Corina is certified as a board certified bariatric counselor, a level 2 diabetes paraprofessional, a technician in dietetics and nutrition, and a certified health coach, all backed by her solid clinical nutrition education.

Throughout her career, she has worked closely with patients managing chronic conditions related to metabolism and weight, as well as with adolescents diagnosed with eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, through a government-funded state program focused on youth mental health, where she provided nutritional counseling in interdisciplinary clinical settings. Her approach is practical, integrative, and personalized to real life.

As a featured talent, educator, and speaker for the American Heart Association, Corina has led workshops and campaigns that promote heart health, proper nutrition, and overall wellness in diverse communities.

In addition to her clinical work, Corina is the founder of NDC Supplements, a science-driven supplement line designed to meet today’s nutrition needs. She brings the same passion and commitment to every area of her life—whether she’s guiding a patient, developing a new product, or cooking healthy meals with her son.
